Bio:
Dr. Williams is now a retired clinical psychologist who lives in Texas with her husband. Prior to her retirement, she was in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Through this work, she became certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitation Reprocessing), a specialized treatment for trauma. She has also worked with a considerable number of those addressing addictions. Dr Williams is a strong Christian, who was able to bring those beliefs into the therapy when working with other Christian clients.
She now lives in a very active retirement community. She is active in her local church, and has led spiritual groups for women in her home. She has served in leadership board positions in some of the clubs she joined there. She enjoys lots of artsy hobbies, which include quilt making. She is the mother of two adult daughters, the grandmother of four, in addition to loving her husband’s daughter and her two children.
