Jourdan Rashid Roberson is an actor, music artist and athlete born and raised in Newark, NJ. Growing up imitating Michael Jackson and Jordan, it was a no brainer for him to be in the limelight. From playing in front of large crowds at basketball games to dancing at hip hop internationals, Roberson is no stranger to being in front of the camera.

Jourdan's famous mentor, Jamie Hector, helped take his acting to the next level through Moving Mountains Performance Company. In his short years of learning the craft, Roberson has already placed roles in productions like "Touch", "Those Who Can't", "Mind Over Max", "Elimination Strain", and his newest feature in the movie "Boogie", starring late rapper Pop Smoke.

Growing up in the negativity and struggles of the hood, he knew he had to change his perspective on life to excel. In grad school, Jourdan went through a spiritual awakening to start his healing process and has since helped others around him migrate through emotional and traumatic burdens.

Roberson also owns 'The Hood Vegan', a meals on wheels for vegan comfort food serving Jersey and NY. He has an associates in liberal arts and civil engineering as well as a bachelors in fire science. On top of it all, he enjoys coaching college basketball for NJCU.
