"Jovi Jov", born Bobbii Rucker, started off as a successful battle rapper while attending LA’s Crenshaw High School. Always one to challenge himself, Jovi Jov decided to stop physically writing his raps on paper, which enabled him to be a creative thinker with how he structures his lyrics, verses, and hooks. In 2008, Jovi Jov decided to take his rapping career to the next level by actually learning how to write and structure real songs and dropped his first mixtape called “The 5’4 Bad Guy”. He was given the nickname “Live Show Jovi” from the energy he brings to the stage when he performs.

In 2014 Jovi Jovi’s daughter was born. Jovi’s sense of urgency to provide for his newborn daughter pushed him to explore fitness as an alternate revenue stream. Jovi studied for years what approaches would work best for him to start his own fitness business. Both Snatched by Jovi and Shredded by Jovi are now one of Las Vegas’ top exercise plans and clothing brands. This year, Jovi decided to open up about the life he endured growing up in different group homes and the foster care system. Finally feeling comfortable enough within his own mind and heart to speak on his dark past, Jovi's intention is to provide a sense of hope and show that no matter what you went through as a foster care child there are others with similar experiences that have overcome their negative past. Group Home Baby is by far his most meaningful and powerful body of work to date! Jovi Jov’s the epitome of someone who didn’t allow the system to break him!!
