Since it's Mother's Day in the U.S we thought we would take a look at the history of Mother's Day and how it came to be in the U.S. Many might be familiar with the name Anna Jarvis, the woman who pushed for it to be holiday, but her mother also played a part in its inception. And in the end Anna Jarvis tried to get Mother's Day abolished from the National Holiday Calendar.
