#54 - Lucky Number Seven

One more week and we will finally have NHL hockey. The start of the season is going to look odd for many different teams. The Boston Bruins will have no Zdeno Chara, as he signed in Washington. Torey Krug has gone to St. Louis, and David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand are hurt to start. The New York Islanders won’t Mathew Barzal for a bit. The Columbus Blue Jackets and Pierre-Luc Dubois are having a fallout, and Joe Pavelski & Anton Khudobin are missing Stars camp. We talk about each situation.

Another team that will look different is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Will 41-year-old Joe Thornton be able to keep up with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner? Who’s gonna get the puck for Matthews? It’s going to be interesting for Toronto next season.

The NHL also announced sponsorships for the divisions and two outdoor games that will happen in April on Lake Tahoe. Also discussed is Travis Hamonic, Jared Spurgeon, Patrik Laine & The World Juniors.
