Michel Langevin is the original drummer for Canadian progressive trash metal band Voivod, having been part of the band since its inception in 1982. Over the course of four decades Voivod's music has changed over the years, ranging from speed metal to trash, and more! Their fifth album 'Nothingface'(1989) managed to crack the Billboard charts and put the band on the map for a wider audience. Their latest album is 'Morgöth Tales' (2023) and we had a chat with Michel about the album, his drumming, the impact of AI, surviving shifts in the musical landscape, important moments for the band, and a lot more!
