Daughtry is an award winning American rock band conceived by American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry. Their self-titled debut album (2006) ended up topping the Billboard 200 and sold more than six million copies in the U.S. and the band continued to make waves with albums like 'Leave This Town' and 'Break The Spell' ever since. We spoke with frontman Chris Daughtry about going independent, starting from the ground up, the song 'Heavy Is The Crown' , the late Chris Cornell, challenging himself vocally, going sober and the importance of mental health, and what's coming next for the band!
