It’s a Guy-guy’s episode this week on Fabulous Film & Friends, where we tackle the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger/John McTiernan sci-fi action movie staple Predator!  

Joining me in this online man cave is none other than the crossfit crown filler, Salt Lake City’s own David Johnson, DMD, and in the left square weighing in at a lean, donut, pie and booze free 200 lbs, the undisputed champion of snarling vitriol against moral evil as well as chatty kids and their indulgent parents in the church pews behind him,  GORDON ALEX ROBERTSON! 

The synopsis! 

Alan “Dutch” Schaefer is leader of an elite special ops rescue team hired by a government agent and former colleague named Dillan for the simple extraction of an unnamed cabinet minister whose helicopter has crashed behind enemy lines in Central America. Double crossed by Dillan and thinking they are tracking a gang of guerillas, Dutch and his men find the crashed helicopter with mysteriously dead and skinned American Green Berets. After laying waste to all guerillas in the extraction zone, and coming up empty handed on the hostage front, save one beautiful and frightened woman, Dutch and his team find themselves being hunted by a seemingly invisible alien whose purpose on earth is to hunt the crème de la crème of earthly specimens, skin them and keep their skeletons as trophies. One by one the elite squad is picked off by the alien creature, but in Dutch Shaefer the Predator has met his match!
