God's Eye View of Scripture Part 1

Commentaries are a good way to understand certain passages of Scripture. They will microscope down into a verse and plow through a chapter one phrase at a time in order to give a good explanation of what the author wrote. But there is another way to read the Bible that is macroscopic. It is called Biblical Theology. Here one takes a broader, or higher view, encompassing whole books and the grand sweep of the whole Bible's narrative.
