I'm honored to present this very heartfelt, difficult conversation with Fara Gold. At 59, Fara was recently diagnosed with a form of dementia, and was told she likely has only a few years of life left. Fara is a dear friend so I felt it was important to hear how she's coping with loss, grief, losing memories, and living the end of her life. Fara's also been a writing coaching client of mine for a year, and reached tremendous depths in her self discovery through our work, most of which, unbeknownst to us, prepared her to face the biggest challenge of her life: her eminent death.

Professionally, Fara is a seniors housing, services and care advisor with over three decades of specialty healthcare operations, marketing, sales, and management experience. As a high-powered executive, Fara has experience managing annual sales of $350+ million with 120 sales leaders and five regional sales managers in 72 communities in ten states.
