Annapolis Mayor, Gavin Buckley presents his 2019 State of the City address on Monday, April 8, 2019. Some of the key points were the successes of getting the financial house in order, the announcement of a remembrance concert on June 28th, the creation of a "pedestrian bike greenway" names Busch Walk (in honor of Speaker Mike Busch) which will connect Spa Road, Maryland Hall, libraries, parks, fields and schools. Continued movement to mitigate flooding and also a short term solution for business owners. He plans to eliminate the Department of Environmental Policy to bring it into the Mayor's Office.
