Own It

Jesus came to us full of grace & truth (John 1:14). We love the grace part, but if we're being honest sometimes the truth hurts. We like the gracious Jesus, the comfortable Jesus...the one who makes sense and doesn't ruffle feathers. If we're not careful we can settle for a watered down, tamed and domesticated Jesus, focusing on the grace and forgetting the truth.

Jesus wasn't afraid to tell it like it is. Many of his teachings are confrontational, not just to the culture and time he walked the planet but to us today. In this series we're diving into some of Jesus' strongest one liners, his mic drop, shots fired moments...the things He really said, but we probably wish he hadn't.
