On October 22nd 1989, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was abducted by a stranger after riding his bike to a local convenience store with his friends. There was no sign of Jacob anywhere, and it was difficult for anyone in the ‘safe’ community to comprehend that a monster was living amongst them. What happened to Jacob, and why did it take 27 years to solve this case?

Warning: This case contains details of child sexual assault. Listener discretion is advised.
