Alright, this one is definitely not as miserable as last week's show.

I open up the show with nothing but midterms talk. I also divulge something that happened to me regarding a kid wearing Puma slides outside a Walgreens. Later on, I talk to Richard Herskowitz, artistic director for the Houston Cinema Arts Festival (https://www.cinemahtx.org), about the upcoming festival and all the great memories he's had now that's he moving on to greener pastures.

As for music, I play tunes from TV on the Radio, Sy Smith and D'Angelo featuring the late, great Roy Hargrove.

The Sour Hour airs on Wednesday nights, 9/8c, on KPFT HD2. Listen live at http://kpft.org/listen.
