I start off the New Year on a very melancholic note.
I basically begin things by rambling about how things continue to be not going well for me (this was brought on by having to dip into my rent money to get a replacement iPhone) and urging people to stop being dicks in social media and in real life. Later on, I talk to old friend (and fellow Houston Film Critics Society member) Joshua Starnes about the year in movies.
As for music, I play tunes by Citizen Cope, Adrian Younge featuring Gallant and David Bowie.
