As we prepare for the 2018 Philadelphia Podcast Festival, Kev sits down and chats with Robert Lundberg about photography, music, technology, and Philly vs. Boston.

ABOUT ROBERT LUNDBERG

A Boston native currently living in New York, Robert Lundberg has been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post, Paste Magazine, Vents Magazine, The Patch and countless others including podcasts. This past October, his work was featured in Chelsea, New York in lower Manhattan at the Clio Art Fair.

Leaning towards an approach that captures micro instances within larger contexts, his interests lie between American sub-culture and system sustainability. After his recent transition, New York has been a primary focus for observing: change, movement, and culture. His style is best described as 'raw, organic and gonzo,' as he brings out the essence of his subjects in the photos.

Robert Lundberg is an acclaimed music, street, and fine art photographer. Originally hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, and currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, he takes his unique and candid style from the street into the world of musicians. He has been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post, Paste Magazine, Vents Magazine, The Patch and countless others including podcasts. This past October, his work was featured in Chelsea, New York in lower Manhattan at the Clio Art Fair. Lundberg differs from a lot of current day music photographers as he likes to capture the artists in their truest and purest form. Recently granted access backstage to take photos behind the scenes, he did a series of candid shots with Eric Nally (formerly of Foxy Shazam) and Xperience. Taking his unique eye to the stage, he has also shot bands such as The National, Japanese Punk Band Pinky Doodle Poodle, glam rocker Baby Yors, Jukebox the Ghost, and recently the tour poster for We Are Scientists upcoming world tour among countless others. His style is best described as 'raw, organic and gonzo,' as he brings out the essence of his subjects in the photos.
