“Until the lions begin to tell their sides of the story, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the Hunters.”
More than stories being just the things that bind us and connect us as humans, they are our identity and the oxygen our existence breathes. To not tell our own story, is to remove the very essence of our existence.
Armed with the purpose of telling the African story through the mouths of Africans, the AMBC began the Everyday People Show, a documentary told through stories and sound, while creating a perfect visual tapestry.
This season has featured Africans from different phases of life, living in different parts of the world. From Nollywood actors to Hollywood actresses, therapists, podcasters, models and even DJ’s. The 12 episodes in this season is a collective story of the struggles, the success stories, and the experience in the everyday life of the African people living in Africa and Africans in the diaspora.
The AMBC is working on bringing more exciting episodes in the new season. We look forward to telling more African stories, through the mouths of Africans. The new season will be bigger and better.
