Prayer is the Christian’s native language but, just like English, it is a language that we need to learn. That’s why Jesus gave us the Lord’s Prayer to use as a pathway to help guide our prayers. It isn’t so much what to pray as how to pray. Jesus wants to teach us to pray so that we can know God better and play our part in his work in the world. Prayer is Healthy Habit #2.
