Donny Montell
New Music

Donatas Montvydas, better known by his stage name Donny Montell, is a Lithuanian singer-songwriter who represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He did so for a second time in 2016, when he represented his country in Stockholm, Sweden.

Robin James Olof Stjernberg is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and producer. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 on home soil with the song 'You'. He also participated in the 2017 contest as songwriter for 'I Can't Go On' performed by Robin Bengtsson, which ended up in fifth place.

Cyprus has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 39 times since making its debut in 1981. Cyprus’ first entry was the group Island, who finished sixth. The country’s best result in the contest is a second-place finish with Eleni Foureira in 2018.

Between 2006 and 2013, Cyprus failed to qualify from the semi-final round six times, before withdrawing in 2014. On 14 July 2014, CyBC officially confirmed Cyprus’ return to the contest for 2015, with the country then qualifying for the final every year since, a streak that lasted until its non-qualification in 2022. Cyprus once again returned to the final in 2023.

Andrew Lambrou Cyprus 2023

Andrew Lambrou is an Australian singer of Greek-Cypriot heritage. He first gained attention in 2013 after a uploading a cover of Evanescence’s “My Immortal” to YouTube. A 15-second cover of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” uploaded onto Instagram was shared by a music page in Spain and earned Lambrou over 2,000 followers overnight.

In 2015 Lambrou took part in the seventh season of The X Factor Australia. He was eliminated after the super home visits, just prior to the live shows, placing him in the top 20.

In October 2022, Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) announced that Lambrou would represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. In the same month, Lambrou signed with Panik Records, the leading label in both Greece and Cyprus, with whom the CyBC maintains an agreement for the Eurovision Song Contest entry and for future releases.
