Tencent Helps Form Global Esports Federation

The Global Esports Federation (GEF) was founded in Singapore and backed by Tencent. The goal of the federation is to unite global esports under one organization but that will likely prove quite difficult.
For esports to be formally included in the Olympics, some sort of governing body like this one while likely be a requirement.
