On today's Esports Minute, Mitch takes us through Fortnite partnering with Jordan to bring the signature shoe to the virtual world. While this won't have an impact on Fortnite esports, it is notable because it shows an increased willingness for Nike to engage with gaming and esports opportunities.
While many big companies have invested in esports, the major athletic providers are only dipping their toes in, although Nike did also sign a massive deal with the League of Legends Pro League in China. Expect to see more crossover from companies like Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Under Armour in the future.
