Just two years ago, Uzi and RNG dominated the League of Legends Pro League. As the best team, in the best league in the most popular esport, it was fair to say Uzi was the biggest esports star in the world.
Now, just two years later, he hasn't played in a match for RNG and was left off the Summer Split roster. At just 23, he may already be considering retirement. While each case is unique, players early retirements is one of the biggest issues facing esports continued growth.
