Tales of now abandoned asylums that are haunted can be heard all over the world. When these "insane" asylums were open and treating patients, the treatment received are terror inducing, it's no wonder all these places are allegedly haunted. One of the worst asylums in Mexico was La Castañeda and though this building no longer exists, where it stands, people claim to have all sorts of strange paranormal experiences.
