Four Dogs Murder a Cat
Martha Stewart has stated that her four dogs mistook one of her cats for an interloper or intruder and killed it. Please understand me; I love animals and have had a cat and lots of dogs. I just have a question: How did Martha know the dogs mistook the cat for an intruder? They live together, right? So the dogs must have confessed to the murder but stated that they mistook Princess Peony for an interloper. This confession would make this a crime of mistaken identity. The dogs copped a plea for a lesser sentence rather than admitting their birthright of dominance over cats and being alpha dogs. This confession has spared the dogs from a harsher punishment; however, the four dogs have been removed from the house for a while, but don’t misunderstand, they are on vacation and not incarcerated. The imposed vacation on the dogs is so the cats can relax, recover, and roam the house freely. I assume this means the cats have always seen this coming and now live in fear of their own identities being mistaken by the four dogs. I wish Martha’s dogs and cats well; however, even Martha can’t force cats and dogs to live in peace.
We are reminded that the world is not Hallmark or Disney, the lion eats the gazelle, the dogs kill the cat, and the prince turns into a frog. As humans, the only way out of this world alive is through Jesus Christ.
