Rebecca Brumfield: "I am the founder of Wandyer Apparel, an eco-friendly and sustainable upcycled clothing brand for the modern hippie! Every piece is hand-made / hand-painted and upcycled from flattering, thrifted styles that women LOVE. Fast fashion contributes to river pollution, greenhouse emissions, and poverty / save labor in 3rd world countries - which is why every one of our pieces is hand-designed from upcycled shirts so we save one more piece from inevitable ending up in our landfills.

Since I was a child, I used to LOVE going thrifting with my mom and finding unique treasures. I was especially interested in re-purposing clothes.



Even in high school, I used to dress in the wackiest, colorful, & mix - matched outfits just to see what people would say!



In my late 20s, after a decade of running a successful day spa, I realized I felt stagnant and burned out by a heavy work load and the constant stress. I had never tried making art or doing anything creative, so when I started to learn the process, I was captivated and it sparked my love for colorful apparel & accessories once again.



Slinging color helped me let go of perfectionism and learn how to be patient.

Each piece is 100% unique and very difficult to replicate, making each item a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art!



On average, it takes about 2-3+ hours to prepare each piece and lay down the color, and an additional 24 hours until rinse, wash, & dry time for the final results.



Simultaneously with becoming a budding artist, I decided to renovate a tiny school bus into a mobile boutique & living space - the wanderlust just grew bigger the more I traveled and the more I met lifelong friends around the nation.



I knew I had to take my art and my bodywork skills from being a LMT for over a decade on the road and truly live out my passion for art, music, & community.



I find my inspiration from many sources: mostly nature such as sunsets, bodies of water, seasonal hikes, and campfires to name a few."
