In this week's episode, I discuss a few of the behavioral issues that I encountered with Mac, my RRP project. He was shut down, jumpy, and afraid, so instead of punishing for the undesirables, I changed the question and environment. I offered more control to a horse who previously had none, and in doing so, worked through some very common behavioral problems without resorting to the normal means. I focus on "girthy" horses, biting the halter, biting at people, and head/ear shyness. Be sure to give it a listen and let me know what you think! Do note that I am an amateur, so take my explanations with a grain of salt! Best(: Let me know your thoughts & be sure to leave a positive review for me(:
