An explosive new court filing in a case brought by Alfa Bank contains never before seen evidence that operatives working for the Clinton campaign planted a trail of false evidence in order to tie Alfa Bank to the Trump Organization.
In the months preceding the 2016 presidential election, the Clinton campaign pushed the story that Donald Trump had a secret communications channel with the Kremlin that was being facilitated by Alfa Bank. Then-Clinton foreign policy adviser and current national security adviser Jake Sullivan was at the forefront of the Clinton campaign’s efforts to tie Trump to Putin.
The new filing includes transcripts from two recent depositions of Clinton associate and cyber expert Rodney Joffe and Fusion GPS partner Peter Fritsch. Emails cited in both men’s depositions suggest that Clinton campaign operatives created fake internet lookups to make it look like there was real communication between Trump and Alfa.
