After Sussmann, Where Is John Durham’s Investigation Heading? | Truth Over News

The trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann is now over but rather than provide a definitive answer on the origins of the Russiagate hoax, the trial has thrown up many new mysteries and unanswered questions.

Perhaps surprisingly, Durham’s overarching narrative was that the FBI was duped by Sussmann. It was a strange move but perhaps Durham’s only option given that he was facing a jury of twelve Washington DC residents where Democrats outnumber Republicans by 20 to 1.

But it gave Sussmann’s team the opportunity to attack the FBI from all angles and that is exactly what they did. The result is that a flurry of new information about FBI malfeasance and abuses has come to light.

What does this all mean for Durham? Can he now do a U-turn and go after the FBI whom he spent the past two weeks calling a victim? Can he go after Sussmann’s associates like Rodney Joffe? And what about Hillary Clinton who we now know greenlighted the plan to smear Trump?
