My goal is to figure out the tips and tricks of professional football players and also give you a glimpse into parts of their personal and professional lives that have made them a success. In this episode, I talk to Michael Palmer, a retired wide receiver who is a two-time Grey Cup champion, the first one in 2004 with the Toronto Argonauts and the second one in 2007 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Michael and I got into lots of conversations that you have not heard before, Michael openly shared with me about some of his challenges and lessons that made me think about what it takes to be successful. A valuable lesson that I learned from Michael is that you always have to think about what you are going to do after football. But without further ado, I hope you enjoy.

This interview is brought to you by Expedia Travel Agent, Jeff Gross. My Dad and I will be booking our scuba diving trip this winter with Jeff. Jeff is a great guy to call when planning you next vacation!

This interview is also brought to you by Football Saskatchewan. I started playing flag football when I was 7 years old and started playing tackle football when I was 10 years old. Football Saskatchewan have great programs for players and coaches but most importantly they make it fun for everyone while you develop your skills in football. You can support Football Saskatchewan by purchasing a ticket in their 50/50 raffles that they have during the year.
