My goal is to figure out the tips and tricks of professional football players and also give you a glimpse into their personal and professional lives. In this episode, I talk to Brandon Bridge (@Air_Canada_7), an up and coming quarterback that goes by the nickname Air Canada. Currently, Brandon is the only Canadian quarterback in the CFL and is playing as a backup for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In 2017, he had 11 starts and was an important piece in the Riders playoff race.
Brandon and I got into a lot of conversations that you have not heard before, we talked about the bias against Canadian quarterbacks and how you should deal with it. We talk about one of the challenges that I’ve had with coaches telling me that I throw too hard. Brandon has taught me that my job as a quarterback job is to throw the ball and the receivers’ job is to catch it. I hope he teaches you something too, but without further ado, I hope you enjoy.
