On this episode of Pages and Panels, Kyle is joined by the Dark Engine creative team, writer Ryan Burton, artist John Bivens and colorist Kelly Fitzpatrick to take a look back at the first arc of the series. The first arc followed Sym on her journey through time and violence, the awoken dragon and the dark engine. Ryan, John and Kelly talk about pacing an arc appropriately, what a colorist does, how a team works on a comic, and Corey Haim. A huge thanks to Ryan, John and Kelly coming on to break down their work and discuss their process in creating the comic Dark Engine. Make sure to grab the first trade, The Art of Destruction, from Image comics which contains the first four issues of Dark Engine and is now available in comic stores today and available digitally on Comixology.
