Pages and Panels #31 : James Harvey and Masterplasty

On this episode of Pages and Panels, Kyle is joined by creator James Harvey. James joins the cast to breakdown his Image debut book, Masterplasty. Masterplasty is about a guy who undergoes the miracle procedure of Masterplasty that allows him to change his appearance to better fit how he feels he should actually look. James talks about the origin of the story, character design, using technology as an effective way to tell story in a comic, and of course the choice to make the comic over sized. A big thanks to James for coming on and providing us with a great discussion about his comic, the process and even things much more important than comics. Make sure to get to stores and try and find a copy of Masterplasty. Image announced it is going to a second printing (regular size) so hunt down that original if you can. It is also available online as well.
