This is episode #02 of Entrepreneur Mindset-Reset.

Hi everyone! Thanks for tuning-in today for a new episode of Entrepreneur Mindset-Reset, THE podcast where entrepreneurs just like you and me share how they master their mindset to overcome obstacles to their success.

In today’s episode, I have the distinct pleasure of speaking with the powerhouse, Jody Maki, of Girl on Fire.

She shares her story about how she became a firearms instructor, her huge vision, and her biggest learning experiences along the way.

You won’t want to miss when she tells the story about how she envisions the world as a village that looks after and protects one another, and her plan to help reduce crime.

Her three best tips for entrepreneurial success might surprise you. Listen to how she came to use these as her guiding principles in life and business.

Jody’s passion and commitment to making this world a better place is what this interview is all about; but make no mistake: she’s a total badass, and I’m so thrilled that she said yes to being a guest on the show.

So, grab a beverage or a snack and settle-in to listen to Jody and her amazing journey.

Launched my company over 6 years ago. Crime prevention is our focus and I regularly train people to be firearms instructors; high-level agency staff, FBI, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement as well as civilians for multi-state permits and instructor licenses.

-I have developed a training platform for Marksmanship for high-level agencies

-Developing Conceal Carry and product safety line for launch in 2021

-Training on College Campuses on personal safety and victim prevention to ultimately decrease campus assaults nationwide - Majority of these trainings are with Non-Firearms Training Div.

Active Shooter Prevention Training - Companies, schools, college campuses, churches. Educating communities on fundamental issues of why our active shootings are increasing and how we can come together to help decrease them.

I previously owned a fashion/image company and later was co-owner of a wellness center.  I started dating a man who owned firearms training academy and he introduced me to the industry while manipulating me deeper into a textbook domestic violence situation. Once I was able to get free of the relationship, I launched my company immediately and it is now operating in 14 states.
