Episode 19, Dr. Cam Caswell, the Teen Translator

Dr. Cam is on a mission to change the landscape of mental health through this current generation of teens and their parents. She tells us that teenagers feel misunderstood because they ARE misunderstood. We can all learn to understand and do better by listening far more than we talk. 

She shares her best tips on how to connect with and relate to people. She’s talking in the context of teens and their parents, but you’ll note that she spends more time reading and educating herself through management and leadership books and workshops than through parenting books.
