However, realizing the need for sustainability, the venture soon transitioned into a for-profit model, ensuring continued support and growth for the farming communities.

Despite facing multiple near-shutdown situations, Shashi and his team persevered, and in 2019, they secured crucial institutional funding. Today, Akshayakalpa boasts impressive growth, with monthly sales reaching 30 crores and an annual run rate of 350-360 crores.
