From farming land to farming data, Steven Brockshus is filling a gap by building the Zillow for Farmland. In this EB25 interview, Steven shares the learnings, failures, ups, and downs of building his company, FarmlandFinder.
Steven was raised on a 5th generation family dairy farm in Iowa. Having no background in software development, he set out to start an online business for farmland real estate. Having bootstrapped the company, he now has team members in the US, Vietnam, and Africa. FarmlandFinder gives farmland professionals their time back and provides them with a peace of mind by providing real-time notifications about farmland sales.
