A lit manager's insights on how to cultivate relationships, and playing the long game in your career: Alex Lerner

Alex Lerner has been a literary manager at KPE for over 13 years, representing writers and writer/directors in film and TV. He started his career in representation at CAA where he came up through the mailroom and worked as a literary agent in the MP Lit group. Alex was born in Ukraine and immigrated with his family to Boston when he was 7. After graduating from UMass, Amherst he moved to LA and started his Entertainment career at The Walt Disney Theatrical Group working on the finance side before moving into production and finally evolving into representation, which in his opinion is the best job in the business.
