Today's Guest: Scott Neiss

    Scott Neiss, a Tel Aviv resident who made Aliyah in 2012, has served as Executive Director of Israel Lacrosse since its formation in 2010. Neiss previously served as an executive for the National Lacrosse League (NLL) , where he focused on operational aspects such as scheduling, officiating, and player contracts, as well as key elements of the league’s advertising and media programs, including sponsorship fulfillment and web development. A native of Oceanside, New York, Neiss is heavily involved in the international lacrosse community, previously serving as a member of the management group of the United States men’s indoor lacrosse team, as well as a consultant for the Iroquois Nationals lacrosse program on special projects. A graduate of St. John’s University in New York, Neiss has experience on the professional outdoor lacrosse circuit, performing General Manager duties with the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) for two seasons.

   The Israel Lacrosse Association (ILA) is the official governing body of lacrosse in Israel and is a member of the Federation of International Lacrosse and the European Lacrosse Federation. It was founded to develop and promote lacrosse within Israel and strives to offer lacrosse to Israelis of all ages. Israel Lacrosse was founded in 2010 by Scott Neiss who previously served as an Executive for the National Lacrosse League, along with William Beroza and Howard Borkan. It was officially recognized by the Federation of International Lacrosse in April 2011.
