Chef Remmi Smith began cooking at the age of eight. She is the co-founder and CEO of Cook Time with Remmi;a health based company and cooking show established in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hosted by 18 year old Remmi Smith, the show is based on concerns for the current childhood obesity epidemic. Remmi’s objective is to get kids excited about cooking, and to link the skill of cooking to improved nutrition.
Remmi has authored two cookbooks for kids and then for teens: Global Cooking with Remmi and The Healthy Teen Cookbook. She also created a Remmi's Italian Dressing, dry salad dressing that is sold through Whole Foods and Wal Mart.
