Our current sermon series is called Christmas for Misfits. Many people think that before they can come to church and follow Jesus, they must first get their life in order. But Jesus never says that. In fact, he says just the opposite. Jesus says he came for the sick, the broken, the imperfect people. Jesus came for you and me, the Misfits. Jesus was rejected so we could be accepted.
