It may only come around every 4 years - but the Olympic Games has always been ‘the greatest show on earth’ for amateur athletes and while the lines between professional & amateur may have been blurred in recent years - the hopes and dreams of Irish boxers have been focused entirely on Paris since the closing ceremony at Tokyo in 2021.

in this episode Ian and Al look at the incredible qualification stories of the 10 Irish boxers that will now look to bring a hail of medals home from the French capital. The lads also look back over a proud Olympic boxing history and celebrate the likes of Fred Tiedt, Socks Byrne, Hugh Russell, Michael Carruth, Wayne McCullough, Katie Taylor, Kellie Harrington and many more.
