In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Sarah Holmes. Sarah Holmes is a women’s rights activist, digital marketing specialist and owner of eco-forward lifestyle company, Love Your Mother Boutique, based in Toronto. Her background is in History, focusing on women and the criminal justice system and she brings her passion for supporting and uplifting women into everything she does. From fighting for sex worker labour rights, to teaching ballet to young girls, and creating an umbrella for women entrepreneurs to showcase their products through her boutique, she is determined to disrupt the system and create space for all women to shine and achieve their goals. Sarah is also passionate about protecting Mother Earth and upon returning from her 6 month adventure around Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, she embarked on her journey to offer a simple, transparent solution to purchasing eco-forward products. She aspires to make low-waste life as easy as possible and help Canadians reduce it’s eco-footprint without compromising their lifestyle. In this episode we discuss eco-forward companies, ballet, advocating for women's rights, sex workers rights, body image and personal struggle.
