In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Jennifer Kolbuc. A quick-witted, multi-tasker, when Jennifer is not colour coding her latest worksheets, she’s hitting the trails around Metro Vancouver, rain or shine. She’s known for her sense of adventure, and her competitive Catan skills. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Jennifer moved to Vancouver on a whim back in 2007. She quickly fell in love with the mountains and knew this place would become home. Along the way however she also spent several years in Whistler, and overseas in Australia, New Zealand, and South America. Jennifer has spent over a decade helping big brands, non-profits, and government agencies light up their social media channels with the content their target audiences is looking for. After her second child was born, Jennifer knew she was looking for a change that would give her more freedom and flexibility to be with her young children, while at the same time continuing to share her passion for digital marketing. Since then, Mountain Top Consulting has been focusing on helping women-led business and solopreneurs find the power of their own voice and share their story through social media. She believes that anyone can master social media, with a little direction and guidance. In this episode we discuss social media, the always changing social media landscape, women in entrepreneurship, learning curves and corporate life.
