Angel has grown her career by pushing boundaries and relentlessly driving for improvement, both on a personal and professional level. Hailing from an engineering family in the automotive industry, she ditched the cars of the motor city in Michigan and headed south to Texas to pursue a career in mechanical engineering research. With the Texas sun on her shoulders, she has spent the last 18 years growing as a woman and finding her voice. She now uses her voice to speak out for those who don’t feel empowered, and to lead them to find their own voices. Angel is currently the manager in the Fluids Engineering department at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. At home, she is the mother to two rambunctious children who teach her new management skills on a daily basis.
