Bio

Elizabeth Hecht wrote the book Five to One. A story of surviving abuse with the vision of a woman sitting in a women's abuse shelter and filling a few hours of her time with reading something that reassures her she is not alone and gives her hope of reclaiming her life with emphasis of not returning to her abusive situation. It also offers enlightenment to those that question why people stay in an abusive relationship through her personal journey into the darkness. Elizabeth is now living with her two children in Oklahoma and enjoying a life free of domestic oppression.
