Ep. 50 - Gorillaz Feat.Ganser

A new era of emo trash is upon us!!! And we're starting off with a super sick episode on the self titled Gorillaz record! We're talking all about musical exploration and what it means to make art and we're doing it with the absolutely wonderful Alicia of Ganser! This episode is gosh darn cool and my mind gets blown multiple times on what it means to make art. Like seriously y'all, this episode was eye opening, so I hope you get as much out of it as I did!

Definitely go check out Ganser and their awesome record "Just Look At That Sky" if ya haven't yet because it is SO GOOD. They're gonna take over the world purely by being badasses and that really does come through in there music.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAH. Futura Free was kinda and awesome enough to make this song for us on a whim after I made a joke tweet about how bands should write about emo trash instead of their ex's. I love it so so so much and it truly captures our vibe and I love it. So we decided to use it! It will be our theme for the foreseeable future so the biggest shoutout ever to Futura Free for just being awesome as heck and making awesome stuff. Go check them and their new record out!!!

Thank you for reading all of this! As you can see, some things are changing, and as exciting as that is it's always a little scary. Switching the theme song feels monumental, like it must be fully justified. But honestly I just wanted to share this really cool thing I love with all of you, and that's the entire basis for emo trash really. Thanks for being someone I am excited to share cool stuff I love with, you rock :)
