Synopsis: Memorial Day weekend is a time the nation has set aside to remember those who have died in the defense of the nation. We have all been blessed by the sacrifice they have made.
Today in our worship service we remember the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. He brings to us the hope of everlasting life. While there are many things in life that draw our attention in other directions today we are “Called Back to the Lord’s Table” in remembrance of His gift to whoever will come. It is my prayer to God that He will always use this celebration of the Lord’s Supper to call us all believers to Himself (1 Kings 18:20-39).
