Courtney Cowan, founder and owner of Milk Jar Cookies, earned her baking stripes in her mother’s kitchen, sneaking spoonfuls of cookie dough during the process. In her spare time during her job as a Post Producer in Los Angeles, Courtney began perfecting her own cookie recipes in the kitchen of her one-bedroom apartment. After earning rave reviews, in the spring of 2013, she opened the doors to Milk Jar Cookies’ flagship location. Courtney’s inspiring entrepreneurial story has been celebrated across Forbes and Entrepreneur Magazine, while her cookies have been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine and on the Today Show. Her first cookbook is being published in the fall of 2020.
