After the media and authorities had successfully demonised the Acid House movement and Rave scene in the UK, a softer, more commercial, radio friendly sound emerged in the early 90’s. Vocals were back and these primarily UK, US and Italian produced house / garage tracks would strongly influence the direction pop music would ultimately take in the years that followed. This compilation / mix includes some of my favourite tracks from this groundbreaking era of dance music.
