033 B - Met a line

Whites are the house pets of empire -- a Pomeranian who bites the orderly for treats from an old woman. When she dies, she knows the dog will eat her.

She expects the orderly to discard her husk. She expects the orderly to look after the dog. She expects the orderly not to exploit this moment of advantage.

One morning, the orderly finds her vivisected and barely breathing. The dog is black with blood. She is buried. The dog is euthanized. The next pair is wheeled in.
